Field Service Teams
GSG Solutions provides Field Service Teams (FST) for two- and four-stroke engine repairs and service. All our service technicians have extensive sailing and working onboard experience, and all team members receive full training before joining our Field Service Teams.

GSG Solutions has service engineers holding all the required certificates and training, which allows them to work offshore, such as BOSIET, MIST, HSSE, and CA-EBS—all familiar with HSEQ standards.

We have qualified FST repairing and maintaining diesel engines of all manufacturers and work worldwide.

We charge a daily rate for GSG Field Service teams carrying out voyage repair work or a rate for working round the clock.

These teams are composed of skilled professionals with expertise in the specific requirements and nuances of two- and -four stroke engine technology.
The GSG FST's performs on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repair jobs.

The team leader took the time to train my 3rd Engineer in some of the more technical aspects of the overhaul process. The team informed us of the work progress every evening and morning.
Any special requirements that arise were presented beforehand so they would not interfere with our schedule. All unusual and noteworthy findings were promptly presented and discussed with us.
Once the overhaul and testing were completed to our satisfaction, the team not only cleaned up their tools but also the engine and the area around it (including wiping down the overhead; I was very impressed). Upon completion, we were presented with the final copy of the service report, which included all the inspections and the parts used in the inventory. That allowed us to update the ship's spares much more quickly.
