ENERGY CONSUMPTION
GreenBox GB300 operates with an energy consumption of 10 kWh, significantly lower than the 70.05 kWh required by a freezer (e.g. the Electrolux Professional Blast Chiller-Freezer Crosswise - 100 kg 20GN 1/1) for the same amount of organic waste. This difference becomes even more relevant when considering the distinct operating cycles of both systems.
Efficient usage cycle: GreenBox GB300 runs for just 8 hours per cycle and then stops consuming energy until the next operation. A freezer, instead, runs 24/7, continuously using electricity to maintain frozen waste storage.
Optimized waste management : GreenBox transforms organic waste into a stable, dry byproduct, reducing disposal costs. A freezer only preserves waste, requiring ongoing storage and eventual disposal.
Total energy efficiency: A direct comparison between GreenBox’s 8-hour cycle and the freezer’s freezing phase is incomplete. When factoring in the freezer’s continuous energy consumption, GreenBox proves to be an even more cost-effective and energy-efficient solution over time.
