GB 30 About

The GB 30 is the most compact model in the GreenBox series, designed for businesses seeking an efficient and space-saving solution for organic waste management. Despite its small footprint, it efficiently processes 30 kg of organic waste per day, reducing its volume by up to 85% and converting it into a sterile, dry powder that can be repurposed as fertilizer or used for biogas production.

Lockable wheels for easy mobility

No additional ventilation required

No water connection needed, only a floor drain

Odor-free operation

User-friendly control panel

Made from stainless steel and equipped with lockable wheels, the GB 30 is easy to position in kitchens, dishwashing areas, or waste storage rooms. It requires minimal installation, needing only a power connection and a floor drain, with no additional ventilation or water supply required.

By automating the waste reduction process, the GB 30 enhances workplace hygiene, eliminates unpleasant odors, and reduces the frequency of waste collection, making it an environmentally friendly and cost-effective choice for food service operations.

ENERGY CONSUMPTION

GreenBox GB30 operates with an energy consumption of 1.8 kWh, significantly lower than the 7.77 kWh required by a freezer (e.g. the SkyLine ChillS Blast Chiller/Freezer 30/30 kg) for the same amount of organic waste. This difference becomes even more relevant when considering the distinct operating cycles of both systems.

Efficient usage cycle: GreenBox GB30 runs for just 8 hours per cycle and then stops consuming energy until the next operation. A freezer, instead, runs 24/7, continuously using electricity to maintain frozen waste storage.

Optimized waste management : GreenBox transforms organic waste into a stable, dry byproduct, reducing disposal costs. A freezer only preserves waste, requiring ongoing storage and eventual disposal.

Total energy efficiency: A direct comparison between GreenBox’s 8-hour cycle and the freezer’s freezing phase is incomplete. When factoring in the freezer’s continuous energy consumption, GreenBox proves to be an even more cost-effective and energy-efficient solution over time.

Switching to GreenBox GB30 reduces total energy use, eliminates long-term storage costs, and minimizes waste disposal expenses, offering a more sustainable and cost-effective solution.
