The GB 100 is a mid-sized model in the GreenBox series, ideal for businesses that generate moderate amounts of organic waste. Capable of processing 100 kg of organic waste per day, it reduces waste volume by up to 85%, transforming it into a sterile, dry powder suitable for fertilizer or biogas production.

Built from stainless steel and featuring lockable wheels, the GB 100 is easy to position in kitchens, dishwashing areas, or waste rooms. Its intuitive control panel ensures user-friendly operation, while the odor-free and quiet process enhances workplace hygiene.

GreenBox GB100 operates with an energy consumption of 3.2 kWh, significantly lower than the 23.35 kWh required by by a freezer (e.g. the Blast Chiller-Freezer Crosswise - 100 kg 20GN 1/1 (R452A)  Electrolux Professional) for the same amount of organic waste. This difference becomes even more relevant when considering the distinct operating cycles of both systems.

  • Efficient usage cycle: GreenBox GB100 runs for just 8 hours per cycle and then stops consuming energy until the next operation. A freezer, instead, runs 24/7, continuously using electricity to maintain frozen waste storagE.

  • Optimized waste management : GreenBox transforms organic waste into a stable, dry byproduct, reducing disposal costs. A freezer only preserves waste, requiring ongoing storage and eventual disposal.

  • Total energy efficiency: A direct comparison between GreenBox’s 8-hour cycle and the freezer’s freezing phase is incomplete. When factoring in the freezer’s continuous energy consumption, GreenBox proves to be an even more cost-effective and energy-efficient solution over time.
